Grand Teton – Schwabachers Landing – Moose Photo Hunt
Schwabachers Landing – Sunrise
Photography blog day six- Day 6 started off with us getting up for sunrise at Schwabachers Landing. While we were waiting for the sun to rise a moose decided to walk of the brush behind us and across the river. However, by the time a lens change happened we had missed him. We did however get some great sunrise photos.
Grizzly Bear Loop
After sunrise we headed up to Jackson Lodge, Dam and Pilgrim Creek to find the Grizzly Bears, especially bear 399 and her cubs. She had been spotted in this area the last day or so. We did this for a few hours with no luck.
We headed back to the hotel via Teton Park Road and stopped at Jackson lake for a few photos while looking for more wildlife. We did not find anything interesting to photography wildlife wise. We headed back to the hotel and grabbed some lunch at The Local this became our favorite lunch spot. We had a stroll around town then a tea break before we headed out for the evening.
Once our tea and lunch break was over we headed out to find some moose. However, after a few trips down Gros Ventre Road and Moose Wilson Road we came up empty handed on our moose photo hunt.
We returned to the hotel for some dinner and to get ready for day 7
